WAYNE SIOW-Kachina Carver


Wayne Siow was born March 4th, 1966 in Tuba City. His clan is the Spider Clan. His parents are Marrietta Coin and Thomas Richard Siow (deceased). Wayne has one sister, Linda.
Wayne was raised at Hotevilla by his grandparents, Simon and Ellen Scott. Ellen is still alive and is about 100 years old. Wayne’s first language was Hopi and he learned English when he started school. Wayne learned to carve Kachinas by watching his friends. He started carving when he was about 7 years old. His favorite Kachina to carve is the Fluteplayer.
