Geraldine
Sandia is a member of a large extended family of Jemez potters.
She and her sisters, Carol Loretto, Mary Helen Loretto and Shirley
Chinana, work in a highly polished and polychromatic style that
is both beautiful and affordable. Geraldine is probably the best
known of the sisters as she enjoys doing shows and has won numerous
awards. She is also the only sister making wedding vases as well
as several other more unusual shapes. Her daughters, Natalie, Debbie
and Rachael, also pot in the style of their mother.
