Carl Luthey- Native American Art Trader & Designer.

Carl Luthey was a white man who had excellent Navajo Silversmiths working for him making the jewelry that he designed. Much of his jewelry has the leaf and flower design and some of the artists working for him did very distinctive and recognizable work. His sign, a stick figure represents the designer instead of the maker. The head is a C, the arms are a W and the legs have an L in them. Carl died in 1975.
